Works for me. (I actually did both rpms and source from pacman just to fuss around). But when you say you can't get it to work, presumably it gives you some error message telling you where it dies?? -- Tony Alfrey tonyalfrey@earthlink.net "I'd Rather Be Sailing"

Any Ideas? Mplayer is a snap to build from sources. Just get the latest tarball from:

I've said this many times and I still stand by it. Compile MPlayer from source. Some time ago I posted basic instructions: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2003-Jan/2282.html If it still doesn't work, write back and copy MPlayer's output so we can see what wrong. -- Kind regards Hans du Plooy Newington Consulting Services hansdp at newingtoncs dot co dot za
