Re: [opensuse] hexadecimal boxes on webpages
Hello Dne 26.2.2014 05:33, Timothy Butterworth napsal(a):
Please provide a more detailed example. A URL with a screen shot example would be the most effective. Also include the Browser version information as well.
I have experienced similar irritations with SVG images not rendering and instead Chrome wanting to either display the source code or have me download the image as a file.
I used to see something similar to what you are referring to and the issue I was having at the time was lack of fonts for foreign characters. Installing additional fonts corrected the problem. I would get sometimes a bunch of small square boxes intermingled with text.
Thanks
Thank you

I sometimes had similar problem when using an ad blocking SW - the browser wasn't then able to correctly parse some parts of the source code of the web page... V.
I'm sorry, I don't have any example right at hand. I was lazy to debug it more... I use mostly Firefox with AdBlock and NoScript. Good luck, V. -- Vojtěch Zeisek Komunita openSUSE GNU/Linuxu Community of the openSUSE GNU/Linux http://www.opensuse.org/ http://trapa.cz/cs
