[opensuse] Post to Mailing List via menu launches browser
HI When trying to post an email to this mailing list via kmail2 "Message/Mailing List/Post new message" kmail2 launches my browser to compose/send the email instead of kmail2? Does anyone know if this is a config option? Right clicking on the mailing list folder doesn't give you a "post to mailing list" option like kmail1. Anyone else have these issues? regards Ian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It works here. Have you set the default component for email in systemsettings to something which hints towards kmail2? Have you declared that folder as mailinglist via the menu Folder > Mailinglist management? Actually it works here for those folders to with an empty To: field so it can't be that.

I do not have that item in the context menu either – yet in the Message menu (SHIFT+CTRL+N). So probably it was just removed because it is a "message action" and not a "folder action". It works here. It fails on both of my mailing list folders

Have you declared that folder as mailinglist via the menu Folder > Mailinglist management? Yes, i have.
Actually it works here for those folders to with an empty To: field so it can't be that. Its setp up ok in "Message/MailingList Management". If you click "Invoke Handler" on "Mail List Management" dialog, it correctly creates a kmail email compose window with opensuse@opensuse.org as the TO:.
