[SLE] SATA ATAPI under Linux (SuSE 10.1)
Folks, I have a serial ATA CD-Rom in my system. The BIOS recognizes it and will even boot off of it. Windoz recognizes it too. I am told kernels newer than 2.6.15 support this. I cannot get SuSE 10.1 (2.6.16.xxx) x64 smp to recognize it. I've looked under /dev, /media, and used yast to do a harware inv and nothing appears. Any idea what to check and how to proceed? Thanks, Babu __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
