All is well, except that I ended up with "more" desktop than just a "window full" of desktop, that is, I have more to the right and bottom of the desktop, so it shifts. I looked through the KDE2 control and can't find a setting that will stop the "panning" of the desktop. Anyone know how to stop this? Thanks! Fred -- Remember the reason for the season.

I had this happen a week or so ago, but not with KDE2. I went through Sax2 and found out that for some reason, my driver was listed as another model than my TNT2, and as soon as I put it back to TNT2, all was well. Don't know if this will help, but it worked for me. -- Best regards, Gary Today's thought: Chaos, panic, pandemonium - my work here is done.

Fred, You have to run sax or xf86config and reconfigure your xdrivers. During the setup it will give you a demo x window with resize and pan buttons for adjustment. Unscientific theories -Marxist dialectical history and Freudian psychology were Popper's favorites- are formed in such a way that they cannot be falsified by data.
