For some reason the mail client doesn't send the message data when it's supposed to. Normally this is what you'd see when some scanner tries your mailserver to see if it's an open relay. Is it a valid mail, in the sense that someone on your company actually tried to mail billy@scenery.com.tw at that time? If no, you'd better check your mail server config because then you're a wide open relay. If yes, which mail client did you use? //Anders

Do you have dial in clients? I have seen very similar messages from our dial-in clients, due to poor phone line connections. Their connections die during data transmit. Sendmail will wait, then time out waiting for data. If you have no dial in clients, then I would listen to Anders and start checking. ;-) -- Joe & Sesil Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
