NOT a bad idea! Fred -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Just make sure you change the subject a little to break threading as well. Something like #!/bin/bash for ((i=1;i<1000;i++)); do ADDRESS="K.Weng@cn.ats.net" MYMESSAGE="Come on Kalvin, hurry up, I'm stuck on problem $i \ and i really really need your help" MYSUBJECT="Kalvin, I need help with problem $ibC$i2" echo "$MYMESSAGE" | mail -s "$MYSUBJECT" $ADDRESS done -- David C. The way to break threading is to remove the In-Reply-To header. Changing the subject may confuse substandard mailers such as Outlook. (KMail's "Thread Messages also by Subject" seems to do nothing at all...)
#!/bin/bash for ((i=1;i<1000;i++)); do
This would be considered harassment, would it not? (And YAAL, so you should know.)

If you change the subject in the gmail webmail it does the trick. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Yes, but Lawyers tend to be practical people... just because legal action CAN be taken doesn't mean that it will. For example, do you really think the U.S. would extradite him to China over an e-mail prank? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
