[opensuse] installer doesn't see partitions
I've got a test machine with lots of partitions on which I install operating systems for exploration. But when I try to install openSUSE 13.2, the installer's partitioner tells me there are no partitions on /dev/sda (when in fact, there are almost 30). I've successfully installed Fedora, CentOS, several spins of Ubuntu, and some other Linux distros, as well as Haiku, Plan 9, OpenIndiana, and FreeBSD. openSUSE was one of the first I tried, so I don't think the problem is the existing operating systems. This is something I haven't seen before, and I've been doing this for a long time. The machine is set up with MSDOS-style partitions (not GPT); I recently rebuilt it from scratch to make sure the partition alignment was OK.
