Please keep in mind that this version has known security issues you won't get fixed if you don't update to later versions.

And I'm wondering what the difference is between 5 and 7... from a UI perspective, they are almost identical. If "you" like 5, then how can you tell you're using 6 or 7 short of clicking Help > About? Thank all of you for the replies. Unfortunately none of the suggestions are what I need. Although the package files were named with a version of 5, the unpacked/installed programs are all version 6+, not 5. The url:http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/, under the 5.0.1 sub-directory, has ONLY checksums, not installable packages. I'm particularly wanting version 5 so I can use my custom toolbar buttons which I use extensively. But thanks for taking the time to respond. Just in case you forgot you need to disable FF6 before pulling FF5. It doesn't let you make a downgrade if you have the latest version installed. Thanks all for the replies. Found an add-on called "compatibility assistant" that allows the custom toolbar to be used with FF versions 6 & 7. Problem solved.
