[SLE] Webalizer is Y2K victim - update RPM from SuSE?
The version of webalizer that comes on SuSE 6.2 (webalizer v.1.22) has a Y2K bug that makes it impossible to view records for the year 2000+. Any chance of an update rpm from SuSE? I'm given to understand there is a new version available from source. Also, I haven't checked if the version on 6.3 is OK (not yet using 6.3 on a server). yes, I'm back - in my new job - with 6.3 on my desktop. :-) Struggling with Oracle. I don't think that has anything to do with not beein able to view the pages. It has a bug allright, but only in displaying the year. I can watch my stats fine, though the year is '0' in stead of 2000 or 00. My webalizers main menu is like this: January 0 December 99 November 99 October 99 and so on. btw: Webalizer 1.20 on a 6.0 server. I posted the changes needed to make the current source work a few weeks ago.. Just find em in the archive and change the source rpm and recompile.. Or make you own RPM :) That is what i did :) Cya Matthew Matthew King: Sys Admin, Quakers Hill High School. My ICQ#: 2342475 Message me! In the end I just deinstalled the webalizer package and compiled and installed from a source tarball. Very easy. -- Rachel -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
