Release Date for Opensuse 10.2 Box Set?
Hi, according to the roadmap at http://en.opensuse.org/Roadmap/10.2 the final release of version 10.2 is planned for 7th December. This only seems to be the ftp release. Does anyone know when the complete box set will be available? Sandy -- List replies only please! Please address PMs to: news-reply2 (@) japantest (.) homelinux (.) com

Does anyone know when the complete box set will be available? You can probably expect shipping to begin as soon as the goldmaster is available. It's unlikely the box set would not become available until after the ftp release.

I hope so, since I can't remember exactly if the box version of 10.1 started shipping before or after the ftp release became available. Sandy -- List replies only please! Please address PMs to: news-reply2 (@) japantest (.) homelinux (.) com

After, it takes a while for manufacturing to press the CDs and fabricate the boxes and ship them. Ciao, Marcus

Putting it all together by hand, are you? ;-) Actually, this will be a bonus for the list -- no more "when will I get my box in the mail?" because everyone can install by ftp while waiting for the mail to be delivered. (I hope :-) )
