The Dads on the list will relate, xbox360 overtemping ~30 minutes into game play. OK, has to be dust bunnies -- right?. The kids leave the thing running 24 hours a day, no doubt it has sucked in its share of dust. So the approach was to simple. Take it apart, shop vac the cpu and gpu coolers and put it back to together -- simple problem solved. Well, not quite that simple. After looking at the exterior for the box for about 10 minutes, I threw in the towel and googled 'take apart xbox360'. The first two links were You-Tubes of the dis-assembly. 10 minutes later game play resumed. The case is only cheap plastic, but MS certainly put effort into making sure it wasn't obvious how it came apart.
