acroread doesn't see printers
Hello: For a while I could not upgrade to Leap 15.1 because I could not make acroread (adobe reader) work. I did not see the cups configured printers. The print window of acroread only offered "custom" printer. Then I find this acroread package: http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/home:/ithod:/restored/openSUSE... I installed it and then acroread showed all cups printers. I worked well. Recently I did some updates and now acroread shows only the "custom" printer again. I can't tell what triggered the change. I have run nvidia driver installer which might have change ld optins. How can I trace it? Can it be change of ld.so.conf or ld.so.cacher or something related? I do know it is possible to make it work, because it worked before. Thanks, Istvan

I dumped acroread. When I need it, I use a virtual machine with an older openSUSE where it works. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.2 x86_64 at Telcontar)

I dumped it too. i now use Master PDF Editor (https://code-industry.net/free-pdf-editor/#get) this even can handle digital signatures, and printing is of course no problem. -- Best Regards | Freundliche Grüße | Cordialement | Cordiali Saluti | Atenciosamente | Saludos Cordiales *DI Rainer Klier* DevOps, Research & Development
