I tried looking at the routing table but as I understand it (from reading the manual) it should work. Here is how it looks, using "route -n":
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 127.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
I assume that I missing some basic thing but I can't figure out what.
Could anyone give me a hint on what I'm missing?
I'm not very good at networks, but dosn't the eth0 card need an ip number assigned to it? Did you assign an ip number to eth0 in yast?
