Hey Suse people;
It's more than obvious you folks have serious problems with your mail
server. That does not speak well for a company that distributes
software.
This is perhaps the third message of this sort I have received. If you
are determined to kick me off the list for participating in the
discussion then so be it. If this is not your intention I would
appreciate it if you would get you mail server straightened out so I
don't have to read any more of these messages.
TIA
Rusty

Messages to you from the suse-linux-e mailing list seem to
have been bouncing. I've attached a copy of the first bounce
message I received.
If this message bounces too, I will send you a probe. If the probe bounces,
I will remove your address from the suse-linux-e mailing list,
without further notice.
I've kept a list of which messages from the suse-linux-e mailing list have
bounced from your address.
Copies of these messages may be in the archive.

You should report this problem to postmaster@suse.com. There's nothing the people on this list can do about it. You can also choose to just ignore that message, because nothing serious happend. The mailing list software sent email to you that bounced back. So it sent you a test message that didn't bounce and decided to keep your address on the list. Who came up with this "ezmlm" name anyway? Any time I see "mlm" I think "multi-level-marketing" - yickes! Seriously, I don't recall lists run by majordomo or listserv having such frequent hickups. ;-) Must be something in the name... --ET. On Sun, 25 Jun 2000, Stefan Troeger wrote:

Looks more like their DNS server...
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at suse.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
: Sorry, I couldn't find any host named gci.net. (#5.1.2)
Interstingly is ezmlm (or qmail) on any of the SuSE disks? -- Mark Evans St. Peter's CofE High School Phone: +44 1392 204764 X109 Fax: +44 1392 204763 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
Just so you know SuSE Inc was having net connection issues which were and are beyond their control. It was not an issue with their servers or any malice towards you as a user. You should just hit the d key and get rid of these messages. Everything should be up and working as you can see because you are recieving messages. You can participate in any discussion you wish this outage was nothing personnal and you should not take it as such. Regards, * Rusty (irisinc@gci.net) [000625 13:19]:
