suse firewall and suse firewall2 failed services
Failed services in run level 5: Suse_Firewall2 Do we have to uninstall the suse firewall if we have suse firewall 2? Or what are we doing wrong? Thanks, Steve.

Technically no. They are controlled by the Start variable in rc.config, but if you are using the 2.4 series kernel, I would suggest uninstalling both SuSEfirewall AND personal firewall, leaving just SuSEfirewall2 installed (and configured, via /etc/rc.config.d/firewall2.rc.config or through Yast or Yast2). -- Joe & Sesil Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871

Use lftp. It can resume if the host supports. -- Pat Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 Registered at: http://counter.li.org

addendum: ncftp CAN resume, it no longer requires the flag. That is now the default action, RESUME. -- Pat Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 Registered at: http://counter.li.org
