Usually, when quoting I delete the lists sig. It's worth reading though!
Yes, but http://www.suse.com/support/faq are general SuSE Linux FAQs. The question was about this list FAQs which IMHO don't exist. List related FAQs usually discuss topics like: - Recommended format of messages (e.g. text/plain) - Off-topic messages (commercial announcements, news, ... - are they allowed or not) - Netiquette - Methods of punishment for those who break the rules. -- Alexandr.Malusek@imv.liu.se

Ah!, you mean that sort of FAQ. There were some discussions about that, but the sensible people won ;-), what means there is none that is enforced. (that I am aware of) The german list is said to post it once a week (month??) to remind people, as I've read here. Format: plain text, sice in the beginning was the word and it was content text/plain. OFF TOPIC's: There is the list linux-talk reffered to earlier. Topic is Linux, with focus on SuSE Linux. Technical stuff like hardware trouble is OK. Methods of punishment include beeing added to personal .procmailrc files, (What reminds me of some CEO that still lingers around in mine... ;-)) Just read a bit and adapt the generell spirit of the list that is very good. You realy need to try hard to get flamed or end up in personal .procmailrc files. have a lot of fun... ;-) Juergen -- =========================================== __ _ Juergen Braukmann juergen.braukmann@gmx.de| -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Tel: 0201-743648 dk4jb@db0qs.#nrw.deu.eu | /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ===========================================_\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\
