after creating a chrooted environment for a non-anonymous user with

WU-ftpd

...

2.6.1, I get the following error message when trying to upload files:

--- 200 PORT command successful. 553 Could not determine pwdir: No such file or directory. ---

It seems as if all the necessary binaries have not been copied into the chroot'ed environment.

according to the WU-ftpd how-to's, only 'ls' is necessary. The chroot'ed binary directory looks like this: # ls -l total 434 ---x--x--x 1 root other 60916 May 4 16:22 gzip ---x--x--x 1 root bin 18844 May 3 16:36 ls ---x--x--x 1 root other 63856 May 4 16:22 tar ---x--x--x 1 root other 76332 May 4 16:22 zip Even plain-text files fail to upload...
