I have just been given a nice new system, but I am having trouble testing various distros on it. Can anyone help me with Suse 9.3? The installation for the distro halts completly just after the kernel loading message, and outputs a box to the screen : PSTK RSTK 0 0.0 1 0.0 2 0.0 0: ffffffff.5 3 C0000.1 1: 14ba.15 err 8 ip 1471: 10.7 Can anyone tell me what this message means? My system is a twin processor AMD Opteron 252 (2600Mhz), it has 2 GB Ram, SATA hard drives. The mother board is a Tyan K8W. The system was built by transtec, a great supporter of Suse.
