openGL does 'freeze' every X seconds
Goodday, this problem have been talked about earlier in the past but now I opened a bugzilla-report for it and I want to know who knows this problem. The case: GL-apps are working nice and smooth but once in the so many seconds (5?) it seems to freeze for 0,5 second. Very annoying problem. Are there more victims of this problem? You may even reply with only "here the same". Azerion

Is there some disk activity happening at that interval. Perhaps, for example, the beagle indexer? i'll bet if you watch your hard drive light, it lights up every 5 seconds, too. If that is the case, then the solution is to find the offending application and kill kill kill it. -- ----- stephan@s11n.net http://s11n.net "...pleasure is a grace and is not obedient to the commands of the will." -- Alan W. That is not the problem. Even only a dot that would move in openGL would have the same effect. I think it is some sort of GL-problem. There are not so many processes and I kill zmd (and Beagle will not start). Azerion
