[opensuse] Can't install MPlayer from Pacman
I just did a clean install of 11.0 using the KDE3 LiveCD. When I try to install MPlayer from the pacman repo I get an error saying that libcucul.so.0 is needed but that nothing provides this. I had MPlayer installed on this same machine before from the pacman repo with no problem using this same livecd. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd appreciate it. Sorry the actual package that contains libcucul.so.0 is call libcaca Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yeah, I installed that. Funny thing was that before I installed libcaca, it wouldn't let me install it, and after I installed it, I was able to select ignore dependency and install it and it worked just fine....weird. Thanx I see there is a package called libcaca0 as well, maybe something to do with that? Its also got libcucul.so.0 in it. Regards Dave P
