Just wondering if there are any plans to incorporate smeg (Simple Menu Editor for GNOME) into SUSE (or maybe if it's already there in some other format). It's sometimes also known as alacarte.

It's been renamed alacarte (rather than sometimes being known as it). Actually gnome-menu-editor seems to be more likely to be more likely to be an official GNOME menu editor - it uses GOME Bugzilla and CVS. The package is available in the usr-local-bin repository (YaST or APT) - see the URL in my sig.
