Copies of CDs for sale

On http://pctech101.com/products.php?cat=245 it is possible to buy the 5CD/2DVD set for 29.99. Much lower then the official price. I asume these are copies, not the original boxed sets. How legal is this to do? Do they have an agreement with Novell? Can I just start selling copies of the boxed set and advertise them as "SuSE 10.0" (Or the correct spelling "SUSE Linux 10.0"). houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. They also ship a set of merchandising. I wonder if those are official products or trademark-violating ones? CU, Wolfgang -- SUSE LINUX GmbH -o) Tel: +49-(0)911-740 53 0 Maxfeldstr. 5 /\\ Fax: +49-(0)911-740 53 679 90409 Nuernberg, Germany _\_v simply change to www.suse.com

As you are SUSE.de, perhaps you know who I can contact inside SUSE/Novell to clear this up. You could also ask them yourself, if you know them. I just don't want to tell anybody what to do. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Sie ist das Kostbarste, was wir haben, denn es ist unwiederbringliche Lebenszeit. No, you can't. Box EULA does allow only distribution without consideration. So anybody selling the box media does this illegally. Michael

You only mention the box-media. Can you sell the downloadable media? I'm asking because I refer to these on my site - but if they're selling SUSE illegally I'll remove these links of course. http://www.linuxcd.org http://www.osdisc.com cb400f

You only mention the box-media. Can you sell the downloadable media? You can sell it if it's the open source version. All versions containing proprietary 3rd party softwarea are not allowed for resale. So some versions on sale on the mentioned pages are legal some are illegal.
