10.1: how to enable remote X11 logins?
Hiya! i'm looking for the config option in yast (Suse 10.1) to enable remote xdm logins. Can someone point me in the right direction? :) -- ----- stephan@s11n.net http://s11n.net "...pleasure is a grace and is not obedient to the commands of the will." -- Alan W. Watts

Thata way --------> ;-) Edit /etc/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc Change: [Xdmcp] # Whether KDM should listen to incoming XDMCP requests. # Default is true Enable=false to true

That's what i ended up doing - starting a "failsafe" X session (only xterm, no WM), ssh'ing in, and starting KDE from there. -- ----- stephan@s11n.net http://s11n.net "...pleasure is a grace and is not obedient to the commands of the will." -- Alan W. Watts
