A slightly alternative solution would be to run vncserver on the remote
machines - the perl startup script will automatically locate the next free
display number, so you can have several running on the remote end
simultaneously. The vncviewer will connect with 'vncviewer
hostname:display' and is password protected. At the local end you can start
up any WM installed on the remote - KDE, fvwm etc.

Subject: [SLE] remote/multiple X
Hello,
I have several Linux boxes on a small network and would like
to be able to run remote X-sessions on at least two boxes at
once. I am familiar with running multiple sessions on the same
machine but I have been unable to find the docs for the remote end.
Each computer has X installed and configured and I would like to be able
to switch between sessions using the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse w/o
getting into the hardware switching thing. Any pointers to relavent
documentation and/or experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Mike
