Folks,

I tried updating all my packages on 8.0 and one area it failed in was the tetex package. What confused me is the tetex package is supposed to be the "base" package for tetex but when I try to update it tells me I need tetex >= 0.9 , I presume that is a release or version number. It seems like a catch-22 to me unless there is a more basic package that the tetex package builds on.

Any ideas how to figure out what I need to update before installing this set of updates?
