Hi Experts, on a fresh installation of SuSE 7.1 I find the following entries in /var/log/messages: May 10 18:18:03 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:20:05 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:22:11 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:24:15 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:26:19 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:28:25 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:30:32 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:32:41 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:34:41 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 May 10 18:36:46 dgl kernel: ipv6_hop_ra: wrong RA length 0 What's the reason for this? A kernel that issues a warning every 2 minutes is maybe not a good thing to have...? Looking foward to any hints on this issue.
