Re: [S.u.S.E. Linux] S.u.S.E. name and logo
S.u.S.E. is (S)oftware (u)nd (S)ystem(e)ntwicklung which means "Software and Systemdevelopment" And it's not a critter 8^D !!! C'mon... it's a chameleon ! Check out the XSuSE-logo: it's clearer on it ;-) (<A HREF="http://www.suse.de/XSuSE/XSuSE_E.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.de/XSuSE/XSuSE_E.html</A">http://www.suse.de/XSuSE/XSuSE_E.html</A</A>>) Pascal l'irréductible Linuxien -----Original Message----- From: pbnt <pbnt@mindspring.com> To: suse-linux-e@suse.com <suse-linux-e@suse.com> Date: lundi 27 avril 1998 15:29 Subject: [S.u.S.E. Linux] S.u.S.E. name and logo
Just a note to say how much I am enjoying your 5.2 S.u.S.E. distribution
of
Linux. But I have a couple of questions...nothing too serious. What do the initials in the name stand for (I assume they were originally in German) and what is the significance of the little green "critter" you use for a logo. That's all.
Thanks for a great package of a great product.

Pascal, Thanks very much. I appreciate the info. Sorry about the "critter". As you can see Biology was not one of my best subjects in school. I should have guessed a chameleon. Anyway, I like it. Now I do need that T-shirt.
