I have a dumb question... Are you supposed to install BOTH the qt-2.3.0-13 AND the qt-experimental-2.3.0-10? I have been playing, and just did a clean install of 7.1, then did a clean update to KDE 2.1.1, but did NOT install the qt-2.3.0-13, and it KDE would not run - had a bunch of - you guessed it, qt errors. Can't switch to init 5 either... So, am in the process of another clean install (I need the practice :-), but would like to know the answer to the above before I get to KDE... I also have a YaST question. I have been installing packages manually using rpm, but thought I'd give YaST a try, and really like it. Anyway... When using YaST to install/update packages, and an update/install how-to has specific instructions as to the order of installing/updating packages, do you still have to follw the order, or is YaST capable of handling these issues? (In the KDE upgrade how-to, it says that you have to update qt, then kdesupport, then kdelibs, then kdebase, THEN the rest in any order) Thanks - this list is a wealth of info to newbies like me... Hmmmm. OK, but just so I understand - I install just the experimental package (NOT both of them), and it will work the same as the regular qt package would until I get my new card, at which time the anti-aliasing will start working (after I change it in YaST, of course)?
