Hello, just now, with 15.3, when I mount an SD card from my camera, all works as usual. But when I try to "remove cleanly", I can't because "devilspie2" keep some file open. it's only for some SD card, not all or not always. I have to stop dolphin session to be able to umount the card (changing folder is not enough) ~> ps ax | grep devil 2896 ? Sl 0:01 devilspie2 --debug why is this launched? any clue? thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org

I only notice now that the curious message I get at konsole opening is similar (devilspie2) ~> Running devilspie2 in debug mode. Using scripts from folder: /home/jdd/.config/devilspie2 ------------ List of Lua files handling "window_open" events in folder: /home/jdd/.config/devilspie2/debug.lua List of Lua files handling "window_close" events in folder: List of Lua files handling "window_focus" events in folder: List of Lua files handling "window_blur" events in folder: I have to hit "Enter" to bet a working terminal. This is from the begining of the install thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org

along the same line, I have identical camera cards formatted in two different cameras where one auto-mounts and show in the task-bar pop-up list and provides for umounting, the other auto-mounts but does not show and no provision for umounting. "mount" shows each and umounting is possible using the device location or mount-point. go figure >>> -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode
