Has anybody got one of these to sync using Kpilot?
Yes, I have no problems with jpiot, kpilot or gnome-pilot.
I have not had much luck getting this to work consistantly on 10.2, 10.3, 11.0.
This is because for some strange reason OpenSUSE is still using the old visor module with /dev/pilot. To acheive good sync you need to: 1. Blacklist the visor module by putting "blacklist visor" in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist and either remove the module (if loaded) with rmmod or reboot. 2. Copy the file "doc/60-libpisock.rules" from the pilot-link source tarball to "/etc/udev/rules.d" and put all allowed users in the "dialout" group. 3. Change the device from "/dev/pilot" to "usb:" in your syncing program of choice. Charles -- "Whip me. Beat me. Make me maintain AIX." (By Stephan Zielinski)
