I have installed Suse 7.3 pro on a compaq pressario 2701 that has a mobility radeon grphics card. Unfortunately the card per ce is not supported by the x-server provided nor by the new one available at xfree86 org. As a consequence I am running the laptop on the default ati driver which gives out a fuzzy and in all respects a not satisfying output. I was wondering whether anybody had managed to set up a mobility radeon chipset with another driver /combo ro with better results. I am running the xserver at 1280-1024 at the moment.
