Hi all I've gotten blackbox running and I like it, however I want to install bbsmount so I downloaded the tar.gz file unpacked it and ran ./configure, all went well untill the end where the following configure error messages appeared "configure: error: XOpenDisplay not found in -lX11" does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it?? It's probably not finding your X11 libraries, try using ./configure --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib -- -ckm
Thanks for the tip, but it generated the same error message. :( Thomas On Wed, 25 Sep 2002, Christopher Mahmood wrote:

It searches for the function XOpenDisplay in libX11.so. Maybe you forgot to install the xdevel package? Philipp -- Philipp Thomas work: pthomas@suse.de Development SuSE Linux AG private: pth@t-link.de
