So I took the risk and upgraded to kde3.4beta1 on my home computer. It doesn't break as much stuff as I expected. I don't have much use for the extra toolbar (Document Relations) in konqueror, and it's hard to get rid of it, it keeps popping back in when opening new tabs. Anyway it's a minor annoyance. So I went on and upgraded KDE on my computer at work too. This broke the connection to SUSE Openexchange, and I couldn't fix it anymore. Oh well. For other interested risk takers: http://download.kde.org/binarydownload.html?url=/unstable/3.3.91/SuSE/ix86/9... Thanks to the KDE developers and to SUSE/Novell for sponsoring :-)

------------snip------------ I also took the plunge and although nothing really important broke I see no (for me) compelling reason to upgrade until things are a bit more polished. The things I currently miss that were working in 3.3.... kmenuedit not saving changes cookies not properly working in konqueror so I can't use it for some pages A couple of random desktop lockups on 1 login when switching to another users login Loss of quick google search field in konq. (now I'm back to gg:...) Continuing Arts upgrade problems Kmail not remembering POP passwords after log out Other than that nothing serious see ya -- dh Don't shop at ZipZoomFly.com!

After letting it rest for a while, this is back working again. Cool.
