Have you installed the package? Sorry if this question looks foolish, but this kind of questions is a must sometimes... :-) The "quota" command is useful only to know how much space are you using and how far you are from filling your quota. quota can be always used by all users. It looks like it is not installed or the package was broken. Tazio

Well I was downloading some files and Gftp bombed with quota messages. So I installed the quota package but it reports no quota for my normal user account...
