In its normal installation, Baloo should not be indexing anything that Chrome writes. However, if you have changed where chrome caches, or if you have messed with where balloo searches you may have caused baloo to index chrome's cache.

Check this page, and manually look at your baloofilerc (that page tells you where to find it) https://community.kde.org/Baloo/Configuration#Hidden_Folders

Near the bottom it addresses hidden folders, showing how to turn on the indexing of hidden folders, which is NOT WHAT YOU WANT. (The page could be more explicit in telling you that this is not normal, and not desirable).

Changing Chrome to cache in a non-hidden folder could keep baloo busy.
