[opensuse] question about touchscreens
Dear List, I was thinking of buying one of these.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Magic-Touch-Monitors-Serial-Controller/dp/B00006HRGZ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1273425037&sr=8-1 (keytec's "magictouch" touchscreen add-on kit) In command line: man magictouch Says something about magictouch input driver existing. At this page: http://www.magictouch.com/ They talk something about supporting suse linux versions up to 10.3. I was just wondering that if this thing is included by defaukt into x.org, as it seems, it might work "out of the box" without any extra driver installations.. Has anyone ever tried to use one of these beasts? I poked around in the website a bit, and I see drivers for openSUSE 11.2 (32 bit and 64 bit) http://www.magictouch.com/support_usb_xd.html So, they seem to be fairly current with their Linux support. Never tried one of these things though, so cannot vouch for how well it may (or may not) work... but it seems that they do actually support Linux and openSUSE.
