[opensuse] headset and loudspeakers at the same time
hi I have loudspeakers plugged into the rear of my Desktop computer. If I plug my headset mic and speakers into these rear outputs everything works fine. If I want to use the headset, I have to unplug the loudspeakers and then plug in the headset. I have the same sockets on the front of the computer. Nothing is output from the front sockets. Is there any way I can have both without having to plug and unplug each time? I know I can get a swich for around €10 but I think I may have this already. Has this been solved by anyone? Have you had a look at your mixer settings? Dave ------------- root@crankyadmin.net cranky@archlinux.us -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hi There is a 'duplicate front' setting in kmix which I've selected but still no front sound. Apart from the front sockets not being connected I'm at a loss. Will have a look inside. Are you sure the front panel connectors are actually connected inside have they worked before or is this the first time you tried them . Hi. I see your point. Not sure. I can't see the connectors without having to dismatle awkward bits after tipping up the case. It's an old dell gx260, there's only a light green front connector anyway. I think it's time to give up on this one. The Reyes may bring me a laptop. ¡ojala! Thanks so much for your time.
