I am using SuSe 7.1 with a ensoniq 1371 card. Sound works fine when booting as either root or a normal user. When booting as root I have noticed the following errror messages appearing in the console window: dprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0 May 3 05:39:37 linux modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-1 May 3 05:39:37 linux modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0 When I boot as a normal user, I do not get these error messages. I find this behavior odd and was hoping someone could give me some information as to what is happening and what I need to adjust. As either root, or user, the sound seems to work fine, but I would like to get rid of these errors under the root bootup if possible. Thanks, Paul
