Fwd: [Fwd: Re: [SLE] X11 Mouse cursor question]
I tried editing .Xdefaults...no help. I booted into Gnome and they work fine there. When KDE starts up, I get the cursor I want for a brief second then it goes back to the original. Most of the icons appear except for the main cursor...e.g., I'm in kmail now (because I can't get Evolution 1.4 working correctly) and when my cursor moves over the menu, it switches back to default. Some of the icons show up all the time...which is correct, and some are the default icons. Can't figure it out for the life of me. Tom -----Forwarded Message-----

Edit ~/.Xdefaults and put this into it. Then restart X..including KDM.
Xcursor.theme: reddot Xcursor.size: 32
The above lines need to be in .Xdefaults. I would also edit root's .Xdefaults file to match yours or the cursor will change when you run things like YaST2.
