[opensuse] Leap 42.2 Plasma 5 Gamma Settings Broken
Hi, I get the error: `Cannot execute command ' xf86gammacfg 2.95 2.95 2.95 '''` when trying to adjust the RGB scale in KDE Gamma Settings. I want to be able to adjust contrast, brightness and more without having to press any buttons on my monitor. I want to be able to have different color rendering properties on the monitor depending on different lighting conditions. For brightness, I have been having to use xrandr but that is ONLY for brightness and NOT contrast. I Have an ATI card and am using the radeon OSS driver. Can someone test the RGB sliders in the Gamma setting are to see if you get the same errer message? Is there some other way I can adjust the properties I listed above in software? I could do all this no problem on a Windows machine simply by going into the radeon control panel; in there, one could make many many tweaks ranging from screen pos., refresh rate, color, 3D settings and much much more. One would presume there would be some OSS equivalent to the radeon or NVIDIA control panel to make those same types of adjustments. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
