[opensuse] Repeated problems with libpango
for some reason that I can't seem to locate, when performing zypper dup, during the installation phase libpango installation hangs (version: libpango-1_0-0-1.34.1-3.10) any thoughts on how to shoot this problem? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Is this Tumbleweed? If it is, you should have mentioned that. I use Yast --> Software Repositories to change the priority of the Tumbleweed and Packman-Tumbleweed repos to 98, leaving the others at 99. That fixed (or worked around) the problem. Apparently the version numbers used for Tumbleweed are not consistent with those in the standard repos, so older versions sometimes look newer than newer versions. Changing the repo priority to give preference to Tumbleweed fixes it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
