Has anyone managed to install soundfonts using YaST? I'm currently trying to run Solfege but without any joy. I have a soundblaster live card. Any thoughts on how to get solfege going on SUSE 10.1 anyone? Thanks Eddie

Not unless it is a SuSE package.

1. Make sure the awesfx package is installed. 2. Copy the sondfont to /usr/share/sounds/sf2. Use checkinstall if you want to register it into the rpm database. 3. Edit /etc/sysconfig/sound to point to the soundfont you want to load when the sound system starts. 4. Restart the sound system. YMMV, I don't use SuSE 10.1.
