Answer = none
Anyone got any ideas? Trying to install hellanzb but need par2 to be installed first.
Evan, You might also be interested in this link: http://www.davjam.org/~davjam/linux/par2/index.htm There you can find version 0.4 packaged. Something about the trust in this page: it seems the src.rpm contains an already patched version of par (because of gcc4). Basically, I would say, this is bad behaviour of the packager. But you might still want to have a look into it. Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, it does. GCC4 "broke" a few c++ programs because it was rather more strict in what it accepted.

That's the first time I've had that said to me. Mind you, TTBOMK, it's also the first time someone's made any comments on my packaging :) If someone was really wondering just what I'd changed, they could easily extract the source rpm and then do a diff against the virgin sources. However, they don't need to do that. All they need to do now is download the source rpm, extract it and they can look at the diff.
But you might still want to have a look into it.
