I downgraded to xfsprogs-3.1.11-2.1.2.x86_64 and all seems to be well.

What was going on with xfs "corruption"? Did xfsprogs-3.2.2-45 help?

Yes. There was a problem with hibernation causing corruption, and the repair tools were unable to correct the corruption. I had to update the tools to fsck my system.
