Driver for D-Link DFE-570TX ?
I am thinking to buy a 4 port Ethernent card (D-Link DFE-570TX), but as usually, D-LINK has no driver for any of their cards. Does anybody have a driver for it, or know which driver can be used? (e.g., Via-Rhine works for D-LINK DFE-530TX) bye Ronald Ronald Wiplinger (ÃQ¤¯¯Ç), CEO, ELMIT - The Solution Provider Tel. +886 2 8809-7680, Fax. +886 2 2809-0183, Mobile: +886 915 653-452 Net2Phone:8869550066, ICQ: 111651169 http://www.elmit.com http://www.wiplinger.org

You could try and give the Tulip driver a shot, it's a real Frankenstein driver with support for lots of cards. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A. P. J.

This card use a Realtek chip set. The driver module is rtl1839 (note, the third character is a lower case L) -- burns

Sorry, you are wrong: http://www.d-link.de/docs/driver/dfe530tx/vialinux.tar But you don't need them. I use the same card and SuSE 7.2 and 7.3 had no problems detecting the card and installing the drivers. This card really works without any problems and is SuSE Linux certified. Aren't most D-LINKs NE200 compatable? Try the Tulip driver. -- JVOLLMER1@MN.RR.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK STOP IGNORE FULLWISE END

non they are not ne2000 compatible anymore.... The 530 Tx works with either the via rhine II driver or the 8139 driver... I don't know the 570 so far, but if the 570 belongs to the 530 chipset family, then the 2 drivers are to be tested... stephane
