Sound system produces constant screech
I have a SB Live that I've been using for some time now without major problems. I'm not sure exactly when this started, but sometime in the past month or so it started producing a very loud screech that begins as soon as the sound modules are loaded. Have others seen this? STH

It almost sounds like you are getting feedback from your microphone. Try turning down the gain on the microphone. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation

It seems to be the PCM setting. I really don't even know what that means, but I'll do some digging. STH
