Updating to MySQL 5
Are there any RPM repositories where I can update my MySQL server to version 5 out there? Thanks in advance

It's in the suse factory. If your setting up a dev. env. the simpliest thing might be to upgrade to the latest SUSE alpha release. If you want to stick with SUSE 10, there was a rather long thread on the pros/cons/techiques of upgrading back around Dec. 12. Search the archive for mysql5. (I have it in my gmail account, but I don't think there is an easy way to share a entire thread from there.) HTH Greg -- Greg Freemyer The Norcross Group Forensics for the 21st Century
