I am using SuSE 6.2, and am having problems with the 'w' and 'finger' programs after a system uptime of >6 days. ahenry@cusa:~ > w 2:55pm up 7 days, 11:54, 2 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT ahenry pts/0 ppp12.eshores.co 2:32pm 7days 1:44 0.09s mutt ahenry pts/2 ppp12.eshores.co 2:52pm 7days 1:44 0.09s mutt Why does the IDLE field report 7days? Why does mutt come up as the program I'm running for both of my logins? This is nothing more than an annoyance, but would like to know why this is happening. Thanks for any help. -- [-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- adam j henry =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=] | [http: www.heidelberg.edu/~ahenry] [pgp: 0x92B1EDF5] | | [mailto: ahenry@heidelberg.edu] [icq: 5794025] | [-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=] -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
