No, that is MDraid - the device mapper is something else. Take a look at the dmraid link I posted yesterday, it might help you get started.
I tried, I have to figure how to do RAID 10.
That goes like this:
Create two RAID0 arrays, then create a RAID1 on top. Or the other way around.
For exemple, could this card be fully supported by OpenSuse? HightPoint RocketRAID 2320 PCIe 8 ports SATA 2
It could be, but I don't know. The kernel has support for "HighPoint RocketRAID 3xxx SATA Controller", but I didn't see any mention of 2320.

Ok, I'll check it out tonight when I'm at home. Still, there isn't any list or something to make sure that if I buy a certain RAID card, I will be fully supported? Or do I have to guess from the 'modprobe -l' command? ElPaPaNoeL -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Well, there is an HCL somewhere, but I've never used it - I'm not sure how comprehensive it is. /Per -- /Per Jessen, Zürich -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
